Construction of Gungahlin Equestrian Centre began in 2006, and is continuing today. The Centre hosts World Class Facilities, Instructors, Clinics and Competitions.

Our Facilities Operations Manager Kallie is Currently Studying Bachelor Applied Science – Equine Studies. She is a Qualified Young Horse Starter, Problem Horse Re-Educator and has completed a Diploma in Public Safety.

Trevor and Alison IBBORTSON-WOODWARD are Grand-Prix / 4 Star experienced Riding Instructors and Horse Trainers, providing tuition from the beginner through to the Olympic Competitor.

Kimberlee DAVIDGE is a well respected Rider who provides training and exercising of horses. Kimberlee rides between 80 and 100 horses weekly, and is a very experienced female rider.

Angela MIETTENAN is a regular Riding Instructor to our Centre, and comes with over 20 years of Showing and Competition experience.

HorseWearHouse located at MITCHELL ACT are proud sponsors of our Competition ShowJump course under construction, which will consist of 30 show-jumps.

Geoff KELLY our Farrier is one of the most highly regarded Farriers in the district.

Gungahlin Equestrian Centre is located 8 mins drive from Forde GUNGAHLIN and 20 mins from EPIC and Canberra Race Course.
